What is Youth @ St. Paul?

This is our student ministry for junior high and senior high students (7th-12th grade). We want to see students fall in love with Jesus and start to become more like Him! To be saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped and serving God.

What do we do?

Youth nights are a chance for students to have fun, make friends and grow in their relationship with God. We eat, play games and study the Bible together. We also go on retreats, day trips, and local, national and international outreaches.

News & Events

The Youth Group at Saint Paul is dedicated to encountering Jesus in a deeper and personal way. We meet for Sunday school and every Sunday and Wednesday night for fun and fellowship. We start Sunday nights by eating dinner together and hanging out before playing games or doing team building activities or maybe some experiments or who knows, we like to mix it up! On Wednesday nights we have a few snacks and games before we have a topical lesson/discussion time or head out on the town for ice cream or “flocking”.

Some of the things we do in addition to our weekly teaching series:

  • Salkehatchie Summer Service – This is a week-long camp where our youth serve fixing and restoring the homes of underprivileged families in Aiken, SC.
  • Rooted Retreat - Our weekend Fall Retreat at the beach to kick off the school year.
  • Ski Trip – Every year the youth group takes a trip to the mountains for some fun in the snow.
  • Operation Christmas Child – We join the Children’s Ministry at the church to pack shoe boxes full of gifts for Samaritan’s Purse.
  • Parking Lot Mission - Several times a year we give out clothes on Saturday morning to help out a local mission.
  • Confirmation – Retreat to Lake Junaluska with the confirmation class.
  • Mission Trips – God loves people of all nations and so do we. The youth are always on the lookout for whatever missions God would have us do whether local, national or even international.
  • Fun Activities – Paintballing, kayaking, ropes course, bowling, corn maize, scavenger hunts, cinema trips, ballgames and many more.
