WELCOME

Grace and Peace to you in the saving name of Jesus Christ. On behalf of our entire congregation, I welcome you to our website with the hope that it will help you to know our community of believers better.

St. Paul United Methodist Church in Florence, South Carolina is a family of Christ followers who are “real” enough to be approachable, friendly enough to welcome you, and committed to God’s grace enough to love you. I invite you to join us for worship and spend time in our community. I truly believe you will find our church to be warm, engaging, and loving, just as Christ commands us to be.

If you have any questions or would like to get connected to our church family, our contact information is below. We would love for you to join us on this faith journey together, as we grow to know and be more like Jesus.

In Christ’s Name,

Pastor Scott

Early Response Team

The Early Response Teams from across South Carolina sent 15 volunteers to assist in tornado recovery efforts. It was a rewarding experience of 'Christian Love in Action' for everyone involved. The congregation of Brent United Methodist Church graciously accommodated and fed us during the week of work.

Locally, Worth Adams and Wade Dickens represented the Florence District as volunteers from St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Reports of the activities of the two teams can be found on our News and Events page. Prayers are ongoing for those affected by this and many other disasters in the southeast.

Yours in Christ's service,
 Wade Dickens
